Environmental Studies

We are very fortunate to be located within a 5 minute walk of Caldecotte Lake.

The photos were taken during a litter picking and bird watching session at the local park

Objectives:

- learn about how to look after the environment

- to appreciate how important the natural world is

- learn about our local environment through regular walking groups

- the importance of recycling / reusing

- discuss and learn about all forms of weather and how weather can affect our lives 

- learn about renewable energy and its importance for the future

- take part in environmental based trips

We are also very grateful to link up with the Parks Trust for once monthly sessions. Over the course of the next year we will be visiting many of the parks in Milton Keynes, going to a farm during lambing season, having a bluefbell walk, picking apples at the orchard and also working on a local pond!
